A close-up view of the wireless signal receiver is shown to the right.  This unit receives control signals transmitted from the house computer to each light controller box on the lawn. The transmitter is located at the computer and looks identical to this unit.  Transmit range is about 1,000 feet.  In fact, neighbors who join their light displays to ours can use the 8-channel controller and wireless receiver to acquire the same control signals from our computer.  Thus, their house lights are also synchronized to the music and signals that we transmit.
